Mr. Ken Sink

Ken Sink is the director of the Channelview High School Choirs. Mr. Sink is in his 7th year of public school teaching and is very happy to start his time at CISD. He earned his BA in Art at Michigan State University. While there, Ken participated in the Opera Theater, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, State Singers, Men's Glee Club, and Spartan Dischords. He has played major roles in the following theater: Meet Me In St. Louis, 42nd Street, The King and I, Once Upon a Mattress, South Pacific, Little Shop of Horrors, and Chicago. In Houston he has worked with the Houston Symphony, Bach Society, Cantare, Houston Boychoir, and Mercury Baroque. He i activley sought after as a conductor, soloist, and clinician. Ken's professional affiliations include, TMEA, TCDA, NAfME and ACDA. While not working with music, he likes to spend time in the Hill Country with his lovely wife, Val.
