Before You Begin
Thank you for your interest in Channelview ISD! Before you begin the application process, please gather the following information:
- Updated Resume
- Names and phone numbers of three professional references.
- College Transcripts and/or High School Diploma
- Certifications, Test Scores, and/or Licensures
- Driver's License (if required by job)

The following documents are required as attachments to complete your application:
Teachers:
- Teaching Certificate
- ACP Statement of Eligibility
- TExES Scores
- Resume

Create an Application
Before you are able to apply for an available position, you must create an account and complete the online application.
- Make sure you follow the on-screen instructions while creating your application.
- Make sure your application is complete, and all fields have been answered.
- Make sure you have all your employment history entered.
- Make sure to save your application in order to apply for a position.

Apply for a Position
- The name submitted must match the name on your social security card.
- An application must be completely filled out in order to be considered for the position.
- Before applying for a position, verify you meet the requirements stated in the job posting.
- To apply for a specific job, click on All Jobs, and then View/Apply for the position you are interested in. After clicking on View/Apply, the link will lead you to a screen with that particular posting. You will then click on Apply For This Job.
- All required documents must be attached to the application in order for the application to be considered complete.
