Channelview ISD Early Exit Notification Incentive
We are always looking for ways to recruit and retain talented educators. Our hope is that all of our teachers stay with Channelview ISD and make our district their forever home, however, we know that may not be the case for some. In an effort to meet the needs of our district and begin early recruitment efforts, we will launch an early exit notification initiative. If a teacher submits his/her letter of resignation by Friday, March 24, 2023, he/she will be given a $500 incentive to be received in their last paycheck for the 2022-2023 school year. The incentive payment will be subject to all legally required deductions.
- The educator must be in good standing.
- The educator must work through the end of their contract for the 2022-2023 school year.
- At-will, temporary or part-time employees are not eligible.
- The employee’s resignation must be voluntary and unconditional and not in lieu of termination.
The employee must login to their Frontline Central account and submit the following forms prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2023 in order to receive the incentive.

Early Exit Notification Incentive Form
Again, this incentive is in an effort to fill teacher vacancies with the most qualified teachers as quickly as possible. The Texas Education Code allows educators to provide a notice of resignation without penalty at any time until 45 days before the first day of instruction; for CISD, that date is July 2, 2023. The early exit incentive allows us to recruit teachers and ensure we are fully staffed on the first day of school.
