Mrs. Meredith Bell

 

Meredith Bell is originally from SugarLand, Texas and is a graduate of IH Kempner High School.  She attended Lamar University and received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing in 1999 and then her Masters of Education in Educational Technology & Leadership in 2013. 

 

Mrs. Bell taught at Channelview High School for 12 years before moving over to be the district Instructional Technology Specialist.  She has been in this role for 6 years and works mostly with the Secondary campuses in CISD. 

 

Mrs. Bell focuses on introducing new ways of implementing technology into the curriculum.  She is passionate about changing the ways students, teachers, and parents create, collaborate, and communicate.  Mrs. Bell has led the way in making Channelview a G-Suite (Google) district and works hard to help teachers motivate and inspire their students.

Mrs. Tia Caster, M.Ed.

Tia Caster is originally from Denton, TX where she graduated from Denton Guyer High School. She then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (4-8 Math). After she began teaching, she earned her Master's in Education Leadership from SFA. 

 

Tia taught Algebra I and II at Humble High School and then Algebra I, Math Strategies, and AVID at Woodcreek Middle School in Humble ISD. Tia started in Channelview ISD and in this position in 2018. She is excited to work alongside teachers to create engaging lessons for student growth and success!

Ms. Monique Miles, M. Ed.

Monique Miles comes to Channelview ISD with an accomplished professional educator background with over fifteen years of experience.  Her proven expertise is in teaching, technology integration, curriculum development, facilitating professional learning communities, instructional coaching, vertical planning, scheduling, response to intervention, and staff development.  

Ms. Miles has nine years experience as a classroom teacher with working knowledge of curriculum and instruction; eight years of curriculum and instruction support to teachers (PreK-5) in reading, math and science; six years an academic lead teacher and assessment and data coordinator.  Her strengths include developing creative and interactive lessons for rigor and relevance, supporting teachers and implementing in technology, researched based strategies, evaluating data to determine student/staff needs, providing professional development, implementing student activities to close achievement gaps, and creating a favorable environment for teachers and students.
