• Winter Time

I am hoping we will be back in school tomorrow, and that everyone had plenty of heat to make it through!  I did not make any snowballs or snowmen. I grew up in Fargo, ND where I had more than enough opportunity for that.

I am hoping we will be painting for the next two weeks.  The students will need to follow directions, and clean up on time for us to do this.

Good night. 5:00 a.m. comes early.

  • Reflections on the end of school year

I am not ashamed to admit that I am still in my pajamas at 10:00 a.m.  Staying up late, and sleeping in on weekdays is one of my favorite parts about summer.  I greatly dislike following a time schedule, preferring to follow my whims.  This doesn't mean I do nothing.  I manage to fit quite a few things into each day.

Because becoming reasonably fluent in Spanish is one of my continuing goals, I get on Dualingo every day.  According to them, I am currently 34% fluent in Spanish.  I am also taking online professional development courses to work towards taking the ESL certification test.  I am learning a lot about the process of becoming socially/academically proficient in a second language.  I have even more respect for the bilingual teachers and administrators!

Y'all enjoy your day, and more later.
