I have been married to a wonderful man named Robert for 16 years and we have 3 children, a son-in-law and 2 amazing grandsons. We also have a cat named Hunter and a Parrot named Toby.  We relocated to the area from Fort Worth in 2017 and currently reside in Kemah where we are able to enjoy sailing, boating and being on the water.

I graduated from DeSoto High School and began attending a community college and later graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  I worked in the corporate field for 15 years and then I was able to stay at home with my children for about 6 years.  During that time I taught pre-school for 2 years and absolutely loved it.  When it was time to go back to work, I decided not to go back to the corporate world and I took a position with Fort Worth ISD as an assistant to the Director of Psychological Services.  It was then that I realized that I truly wanted to teach and that every child wants to learn and deserves to have the opportunity to learn and to do so in a great environment!  So….I pursued my teaching certification and here I am!
