My name is Sheilah Stevens . I am originally from Lima, Peru . I obtained a Business degree in Peru but later had the oppotunity to come to America to continue my education . I obtained an MBA in the state of Florida . I decided to start my teaching career in 2002 when  I was accepeted at the ACP program at HoustonISD. Since then I have been working as a Bilingual Elementary School Teacher  in multiple grades. Today, in 2021 I am blessed with a new position as an math and science Interventionist for Hamblen Elementary at Channelview ISD .  

I am happily married with a daugther three dogs and one cat :) . I like to spend time with my family . I love outdoor activities such as walking  and running .
