Mr. Mark Sims
Mark Sims received his high school diploma at L.V. Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas (1980), an Associate’s Degree from Richland Jr. College in Dallas, Texas (1982), a Bachelor’s Degree from North Texas State University (1984) and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University (2001).
Mr. Sims has over 35 years of experience in education which began in the Galena Park school district in 1985. After earning his Master's Degree, Mark Sims joined the Channelview ISD family in 2001 beginning at Channelview High School as an assistant principal. Mr. Sims was asked to lead the Endeavor program in April of 2005.
Endeavor High School moved to its new home at the Joe Frank Campbell Learning Center in the spring of 2012. Mr. Sims along with other Endeavor staff members assisted in the development of the new campus.
Mr. Sims believes the Campbell Learning Center not only allows students the opportunity to earn their high school diploma but the school can be a positive impact on the lives of students, parents, and staff members in the Channelview area during this difficult time. "I believe if we Focus Our Commitment to Unlimited Success (FOCUS), our students will be successful at any endeavor they choose. I want the students at Endeavor High School to believe in themselves, have an understanding about the importance of education, and be a productive member in the Channelview area."
Mr. Sims and his wife Marsha have been married for over 35 years and have two sons Clay and Reid. Mr. Sims has been involved in a variety of music ministries and local bands for over 40 years.
