I was born in Mexico where I got my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. I have been married for almost 32 years and have 4 daughters who are grown and have attended college here in Texas. 

Thirty years ago, my husband and I moved to Texas, where I began my career as a Bilingual Teacher in Channelview ISD and have been ever since. I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach almost all elementary grade levels (Pre-K, K, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grade) and have created the most wonderful memories throughout the years I remained in the classroom. I've even taught several of my former students' children!  

This year, I decided to take this position as a Math Interventionist in hopes of making an even greater impact on the lives of those students who really would benefit from that extra-push and motivation to discover their full potential.

I can't wait to see their faces light up when reaching those Aha! moments.
