I am glad you are here!

Hi! My name is Tracie E. Mathis and I am very excited to be the Dyslexia Interventionist at Hamblen. This is my first year at Hamblen and in Channelview ISD. Before my current role at Hamblen, I had the pleasure of impacting many young lives in diverse cultural and socioeconomic educational environments. My prior experience includes: Special Education Dyslexia Interventionist, Special Education Resource 1st-8th grade ELAR/Math, Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and Child Development Specialist. 

I look forward to a successful school year and empowering the children of Hamblen with the tools to be socially, emotionally, and academically successful!
