What kind of activites are at Endeavor?

What kind of activities can I do at Endeavor?
Special events at Endeavor High School are ongoing.  Students have the opportunity to go on academic field trips, have nationally recognized guest speakers visit, and have unique assemblies that meet the interests of students.
This year students were divided into homeroom teams that meet together every Friday.  Besides conducting normal school business, some Fridays were extended to allow for the teams to compete in outdoor activities such as volleyball, kickball, and softball along with indoor competitions such as table games, fooseball, air hockey, and pool.  An added benefit was discovered as well, which was the students were able to mingle with others who may not be in their classes or sit with them at lunch.  It created a cohesive environment and one of mutual respect and remarkable friendships.
Students are encouraged to participate in the organization of quarterly blood drives under the direction of the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.
Endeavor hosted its second annual "Winter Festival" in December.  Students hosted a free  train ride for the kids, a visit from Santa, and many vendors from the area provided a unique shopping experience.  In our second year, we also hosted local elementary choirs.
Students also organized the Endeavor High School Prom at the end of the school year.  Students raised over $2000 in a matter of a couple of months by having car washes, a crawfish boil, and silent auction.  The Prom was a tremendous success.
Tutoring is available for students who need additional help or desire to earn additional credit.
