About Me

Reading Support Teacher

I am a proud alumni of Channelview High School and hold both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. With 24 years of experience in the field of education, my expertise primarily spans in Reading and Language Arts for grades 4 through 6.

I successfully completed my alternative education preparation program at LeTourneau University. Subsequently, I obtained my teaching certificate in general subjects for grades 4 through 8

This academic year, I am dedicated to addressing the needs of our students with dyslexia through the Reading by Design program.

Classroom Expectations

  1. Be on time, on task, and prepared every day.

  2. Respect all teachers, staff members, the classroom, other students, and yourself.

  3. Clean up after yourself.

  4. No personal electronic devices during class. Devices must be kept in the assigned pocket chart for the duration of the class period.

  5. No food, drinks, or gum allowed in the classroom.

  6. Always use appropriate language in the classroom.

  7. Be responsible for your actions and respect the consequences.
