Hello scholars and parents! 

I am Tara Jones.  I received a B.S. in Business/Accounting in 2016.  Later in 2017, I attended ACT Houston, a teacher alternative certification program, to become certified as a teacher.  My certifications are Special Education EC-12, Core Subjects 4-8 (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies), and ESL Supplemental. This is my 21th year in Special Education. I worked for Fort Bend I.S.D. for 13 years and then decided to transition to Channelview I.S.D. in August 2018.  This will be my 8th year teaching at Alice Johnson Junior High. I was the ELA Resource/Inclusion Teacher for the first 7 years, and for this 25-26 school year, I am the Math Resource/InclusionTeacher.
