This is my 13th year in public education. After graduating from Lamar University, I began teaching in Pasadena ISD, where I taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grade. After expanding my experience in Humble ISD as a second-grade self-contained teacher, I transitioned to Harvey Brown in 2020.
I taught first-grade math and science for two years before finding my passion for literacy as a reading interventionist. Then served for three years as the Reading SST (Student Support Teacher), supporting students who require targeted reading intervention. This year, I will serve as the dyslexia student support teacher for students with dyslexia, guiding them through specialized intervention programs designed to foster their reading development and success.
