This is my 14th year in public education. After graduating from Lamar University, I began teaching in Pasadena ISD, where I taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grade. After expanding my experience in Humble ISD as a second-grade self-contained teacher, I transitioned to Harvey Brown in 2020.

I taught first-grade math and science for two years before finding my passion for literacy as a reading interventionist. Then served for three years as the Reading SST (Student Support Teacher), supporting students who require targeted reading intervention. This will be my second year serving as the dyslexia student support teacher for students with dyslexia, guiding them through specialized intervention programs designed to foster their reading development and success.
