I am a new teacher at Brown and I have been teaching children with special needs since 2007. I graduated with my B.S. in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and received my M.Ed. from Lamar University in 2019. My teaching philosophy revolves around nurturing a lifelong love for learning, fostering an

inclusive environment, and bridging gaps. By embracing the uniqueness of each student and guiding

them towards becoming self-directed learner, I am dedicated to creating an educational experience that

equips them with the tools they need to excel academically and thrive as contributing members of society.
