Hi there! I’m Ms. Bankston, a proud Houston native and graduate of Texas A&M University. I’ve been teaching 9th Grade English for the past three years and absolutely love helping my students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. Before Channelview High School, I taught in Galena Park ISD, where I discovered how much joy there is in connecting with students and making learning meaningful. My classroom is a space for creativity, expression, and confidence — where every student’s voice matters.
