About Me

¡Hola y bienvenidos! My name is Claudia Portwood, and I’m excited to share my love of the Spanish language and culture with my students. I was born and raised in Peru, and Spanish has always been an essential part of who I am.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Psychology, as well as a teaching certification, and this is my 8th year teaching Spanish at Channelview High School.
