Mr. Patrick Preston
Automotive Technology Instructor | Career & Technical Education Department Head
I have proudly served the Channelview Independent School District since 2007 and am a retired U.S. Army veteran with 22 years of honorable service. Throughout my career in education, I have taught Automotive Technology and Career Investigations at Alice Johnson Junior High and Anthony Aguirre Junior High.
Currently, I serve as the Career and Technical Education Department Head, as well as the advisor for the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) and SkillsUSA. I am dedicated to providing students with the knowledge, technical expertise, and professional skills necessary to achieve their career aspirations and succeed in post-secondary education.
Beyond the classroom, I actively engage with the community through the Automotive Technology Program, offering basic automotive maintenance classes that promote hands-on learning and strengthen the partnership between our school and the community.
My ongoing goal is to inspire and prepare the next generation of skilled professionals for success in the automotive industry and beyond.
