Counselor

Dear Hamblen Families,

I know these are challenging times for many of you and there is a lot of stress and uncertainty. Please know that I am here for you and your children during this school year. You can contact me  via phone at 281-457-8720 or email at valarie.baker@cvisd.org. My office hours are  Monday - Friday, 7:10 AM - 3:35PM.

As your school counselor, I am dedicated to serving this community. I will be creating and sharing links to videos for your children to continue their practice of social emotional learning and character education on my webpage. We want to take care of our minds just as much as we take care of our bodies. Talk to your children, try to avoid social media for long periods of time, and make sure to follow guidelines provided by our district and  local government.  Remember, I’m here for you and your children.

Kindest Regards,

Valarie Baker, M.Ed
