Hello!  My name is Dawnitra Williams.  As a native of Houston, Tx. and more specifically, a resident of this zip code, I am excited to be here!  I am a graduate of North Shore Senior High and I attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tx. I received a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.  During and after college, I worked as a Correctional Officer for Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  It was there that I realized, I wanted to be a teacher.  I wanted to help, influence and motivate kids! 

I am certified as a 4-8 grade generalist and ESL.  I have been in education for 20 years.
