Compulsory Letters
For the 2026-2027 School Year 90% = 16 Instructional Days Missed ALL Unexcused and Excused Absences
All letters of Violation of Compulsory Attendance Law provide explanation of consequences for students and parent/guardians who contribute to Compulsory Attendance.
3 Day Compulsory Letter/Notice - Early Notice
50% Day Compulsory Letter/Notice - Student 8+ days absences (Closer to allowable absence mark)
75% Compulsory Letter/Notice - Student 12+ day absences
90% Compulsory Letter/Notice - Loss of Credit/Retention and must call for Meeting.
Truancy Letters
For the 2026-2027 School Year 10 or more unexcused absences throughout the school year. All Unexcused, ABS, UNX UND Absences
All letters of Violation of Truancy Laws will provide an explanation of State Law and consequences for students and parent/guardians.
3 Day Truancy Letter/Notice 1 - Early Notice and initiates Truancy Prevention Measures ( Skyward indicator/create Truancy Folder)
7 Day Truancy Letter/Notice 2 - Student 7 days absences initiates Parent conference and TRIAD referral
10 Day Truancy Letter/Notice FNL - Student 10th or more absences initiates Court Referrals.
