Hi, my name is Ms. Gutierrez, and I’m excited to be your 7th grade Texas History teacher this year at Aguirre Junior High! Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to helping students connect with the past while having fun along the way.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston, where I discovered my love for designing engaging lessons and supporting student success. I have been teaching Texas History for two years, and I truly enjoy watching students make meaningful connections between the past and their own lives.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring new food spots.
