My name is Felix Lopez Ortiz. I am naturally from Puerto Rico. I came to Houston in 2015 to have a better future for myself and my future family. I have been a teacher for 14 years and this is my 15th year in education. I have a beautiful family and I like to spend time with them, read, play video games, watch movies/tv shows and I love baseball.

The purpose of my class is to help your child in the acquisition of the English language through a plethora of activities, games, district software and assessments. One of my goals is to get my students to show growth for their TELPAS test and their RELA STAAR test. Also, I will give my students time to introduce them to daily reading since it will be beneficial if they practice their reading skills and develop a passion for reading books outside of school.
