Welcome to Girls Physical Education. This course will provide instruction in the development and care of the human body, ranging from calisthenic exercises to training in performance and management of athletic games. Our goal is to develop students' physical competence and knowledge of movement and safety, as well as their ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of an active and healthy lifestyle, so that our students can maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout their lives.
My name is Mrs. Nykeida Mitchell. I am a 1994 graduate of Channelview HS. After graduating from high school, I began my college career at Blinn College. I later attended the University of Phoenix to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree. This is my 23rd year with the district and my 12th year at Aguirre JH. I am looking forward to another successful year.
