Welcome! My name is Andrew Segrest, and I’m excited to be starting another great year with the Anthony Aguirre Junior High Choirs. This is my third year teaching choir and my second year here at Anthony Aguirre.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Lamar University and a Master’s Degree in Organ Performance from the University of North Texas. Music has been an important part of my life for many years, and I’m passionate about sharing that joy and creativity with my students every day.

This year, I’m especially excited to continue helping our choir members grow as musicians, performers, and teammates. Together, we’ll make great music, build confidence, and create wonderful memories throughout the year.

I’m looking forward to a great year filled with learning, laughter, and song!
