Students were using fraction tiles today to build a strong conceptual understanding of equivalent fractions. They even had a catchy song to reinforce their learning! 🎶 Hands-on, engaging, and meaningful math in action!

2nd Grade students demonstrated TEK 2.9F(Area) using color tiles. They were given scenarios with dimensions of an area rug to demonstrate the surface area.
The SLC Superbowl party was a smash. After a full day of post test and landform exploration, we partied hard. The Kiddos were happy, bellies full and tuckered out at the end of the day.

It's the 100th day of School on Monday. Students may dress like they are 100 years old or wear clothing with 100 items (buttons, stickers, dots, etc.) to join in the fun!
