Hi, everyone! My name is Codi Hargrave, and I’m so excited to join Harvey Brown's resource and inclusion team! I’m 30 years old and I’m from Houston, Texas. 🤠
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University, and I have been working in education for seven years! Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to be an inclusion paraprofessional, a third-grade teacher, and now a resource and inclusion teacher. I absolutely love helping students learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of. I believe every student learns in their own special way, and I’m passionate about making sure everyone feels welcome, supported, and successful in our classroom!
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me with a book, a crochet project, or something I’m drawing. I also LOVE to travel and explore new places! My favorite place I’ve visited so far is Memphis, Tennessee. 🎸
And, of course, I can’t forget to introduce my classroom's most important honorary member—my cat, Porter! 🐱 He was named after one of my favorite country music legends, Porter Wagoner.
I’m so excited for the school year ahead! I can’t wait to learn, laugh, create, and grow together. I’m looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you! 💙
