Welcome to Art with Ms. Ramirez, this year I will be teaching, Art 1, Drawing 3, , Digital Art and Media 1, Digital Art and Media 2, and AP 2D and Design . -This is my 6th year in CVISD and I could not be more excited. I received my AA in Fine Arts from Lonestar College system in 2016 and completed my BA with a minor in Art Education from the University of Houston in 2019. I have experience teaching art in both public and private programs. Art is my life's passion and I am hoping to share that love with all who enter my classroom. I believe the arts can be healing and also teach us a great deal about ourselves and the world around us. Art can lend us the ability to learn that making mistakes is ok. Art encourages creativity, thinking outside the box, experimentation, social responsibility, and community. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and getting to know each and every one of my students. This year will be interesting no doubt but as creative souls we are resourceful and we will prosper.
