I have been in secondary education since 1999. I graduated from the University of Houston in 1999 and earned my masters degree from Sam Houston State in 2024. I have been in Channelview ISD for 20 years during which I have taught English, world history, geography, reading, speech, debate, and theatre arts.

Way back in 1984, I graduated from an alternative education program very similar to Endeavor High School; therefore, I wholeheartedly believe in our mission and the potential of all of my students.
