Welcome to New Horizons Physical Education! My name is Jamie Balke, known as Coach Balke. I am happy to be your student's P.E. Coach and I am looking forward to a great year!

This is my 17th year coaching and I love my job! I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors in Kinesiology - Study of Sports Movement and from Lamar University with a Masters in Education. I am a life long learner who constantly enjoys problem solving and finding solutions. I most enjoy being a wife and mother and looking forward to all life has to offer!

This will be a great year in the gym here at New Horizons!

Lastly, I am the New Horizons Fine Arts Team Leader. I work closely with all our Fine arts Teachers and campus leaders and we look forward to bringing you some amazing performances!

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I am always happy to help and discuss anything.
