About Me

Welcome! I’m a 3rd Grade teacher at New Horizons Fine arts Magnet with close to 30 years of experience in the field of Computer Technology and a Master’s degree in Education from Walden University, with a focus on Integrating Technology in the Classroom.

As an educator, my goal is to empower students to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. I believe in creating a learning environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Through the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, I provide multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression—ensuring that all learners can thrive.

I actively promote critical thinking, collaboration, and communication, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. By blending my technology background with research-based teaching strategies, I guide students in using digital tools not just for consumption, but for creativity, connection, and exploration.

I’m passionate about preparing students for a future where technology and education go hand in hand—and I’m excited to be part of that journey with them every day.
