I was born and raised in Baytown.Texas, and currently live in Houston,Texas with my husband. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston–Downtown, and this is my 13th year with Channelview ISD. I spent 9 years teaching 2nd grade Math and Science at Schochler Elementary and 2 years as a Math Interventionist/GT Teacher at McGhee Elementary. This is my 2nd year at New Horizons serving as a Math Interventionist/GT Teacher. I am passionate about nurturing students’ unique strengths, building confidence in problem-solving, and helping students see the joy in learning.
