Channelview ISD

The Administrative Services office oversees the areas of Maintenance, Technology, Transportation, Security, and Nutrition. An overview of each of these departments can be found below.

The Maintenance Department works with campus administrators and the community to provide access to clean, well maintained facilities. 

The Department of Technology is responsible for managing and supporting the district's digital infrastructure. This includes providing Chromebooks for students, assisting teachers with Skyward access, and troubleshooting through platforms like Incident IQ. The department also plays a key role in ensuring cyber safety across the district by implementing security measures and offering guidance on safe technology use.

The CISD Department of Transportation provides the safest, most reliable service possible for the students of Channelview ISD. The Transportation Department is responsible for transporting nearly 4,600 students to and from school every day. 

The Channelview Independent School District is committed to providing a safe environment for students, staff and visitors. The district and campuses plan and practice safety and emergency preparation drills, response, and recovery.  Our efforts encompass staff, students, and local law enforcement. Channelview ISD continually assesses district wide safety needs, implementation of safety measures and protocols, identifies training needs, and ensures response to changing conditions.

The CISD Department of Child Nutrition is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health and their ability to learn. They support it by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
