Channelview ISD Summer 2026 Program Opportunities for Students

Channelview Independent School District is dedicated to supporting student growth, engagement, and readiness for the future through a variety of enriching summer programs. This year, Channelview ISD offers opportunities for students at every stage, including academic camps, STEM and innovation experiences, arts programs, and specialized enrichment for gifted and talented learners.

To ensure all students are prepared and inspired for the upcoming school year, these programs focus on academic advancement, creative exploration, and hands-on learning. In addition, Channelview ISD provides a FREE Summer Feeding Program so that children and teens have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months.

These comprehensive initiatives reflect Channelview ISD’s strong commitment to student success, well-being, and preparing future-ready graduates.

Camp WOW is designed to introduce students to a variety of careers and CTE programs through hands-on, engaging activities. Throughout the camp, students will have the opportunity to explore different career pathways, build new skills, and begin thinking about their future goals in a fun and interactive environment.

Camp Highlights Include:

  • Interactive, career-focused learning sessions

  • Exposure to high-demand career fields

  • Hands-on projects, team-based activities, field trips

  • Opportunities to connect real-world skills to classroom learning

CTE Programs of Study Featured at Camp WOW:
Students will rotate through engaging sessions connected to high-demand career pathways, including:

  • Health Science

  • Animal and Plant Science

  • Engineering & Robotics

  • Audio/Visual Design  and Graphic Design

  • Cybersecurity

  • Business, Marketing & Finance

  • Construction 

  • Automotive

  • Welding

  • Culinary Arts

  • Education & Training

  • Law & Public Service

Each session is designed to be interactive, age-appropriate, and hands-on, giving students real exposure to careers in these fields.

  • Dates: June 1st-5th

  • Location: Channelview High School

  • Time: 8-4

  • Students: Current 2nd–7th grade students 

  • Cost $100 per Camper (Shirt, Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack)

CISD Volleyball Team Camp

CISD Volleyball Team Camp

The Channelview Volleyball program is excited to announce two summer camp opportunities for athletes looking to improve their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.

The Channelview Volleyball Team Camp will be held June 4–5 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kolarik Gym (Door 15). This camp is open to current program members and will provide athletes with valuable team training and competition experience. Participants should bring their own lunch. The total camp cost is $95, but the volleyball program is covering $75 of the fee, leaving only $20 cash due by May 15.

The Incoming Freshman Volleyball Camp will be held July 30–31 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Kolarik Gym (Door 15). This camp is designed to help incoming 9th graders transition confidently into high school volleyball by focusing on fundamental skills, team systems, and expectations for the high school level. The cost is $20 cash.
