Dr. Hill and the Channelview ISD leadership team have officially embarked on a journey across the district to share information, answer questions, and listen to feedback as we chart the course ahead. These visits are part of the district's effort to provide factual information about the propositions that will appear on the November 3 ballot and help the Channelview community understand what's being considered.

Recent ports of call included McGhee Elementary and our Transportation Department, with many more stops ahead. Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation and helped navigate the future of Channelview ISD.

Navigating Forward
From 2024–2025 to 2025–2026, the district’s budget reflects a 2.9% decrease. The 2025-26 adopted revenues are $103,768,895 and expenditures are $106,521,948.

This results in a $2,753,053 planned deficit within the General Operating Budget. This intentional decision reflects the district’s commitment to maintaining high-quality student programs and services.
