The ACT Academy hosted Restorative Houston today for a Community Building Circle, facilitated by the founder, Anita Wadhwa, and kept by a former student turned circle keeper, Amiyah as well as her mom Deshandrea Yates.
The students participated in team-building activities and reflected on their experiences through dialogue, art, and writing prompts.
Our campus is in the process of rolling out restorative practices as part of our program model. Teachers will participate in additional training and be designated classroom circle-keepers for the 2026-2027 school year.
