Hello, Hamblen Hawks!

My name is Hyacinth Natividad, and I’m so excited to be returning to Hamblen Elementary for my second year as your school counselor. After an incredible first year getting to know our wonderful Hawks, Hawk families, and Hawk staff, I’m looking forward to building even stronger connections and continuing to support our Hawk community.

A little about me —

I was born and raised in the Philippines and have been in education for over 20 years. This is my 13th year with Channelview ISD. I am also an Occupational Therapist, a Licensed Nurse, a Certified Autism Specialist, and a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Being an elementary school counselor is truly a joy. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where scholars can grow academically, socially, and emotionally while feeling confident to be the best version of themselves. When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, trying new food, and spending quality time with my two children. Whether you have a question, need support, simply want to introduce yourself, or say hi; my door is always open. I look forward to partnering with our Hawks, Hawk families, and Hawk staff as we make this another amazing year at Hamblen Elementary. Here's to a year filled with growth, kindness, and Hawk pride.
